One of the most anticipated Bad Blood readings yet, BBXV, is less than a week away. Eileen Myles, Ben Mirov, Patricia Lockwood, and Donald Dunbar, the latter three of whom will be officially launching brand new books of poems from Octopus Books, Octopus Books, and Fence Books, respectively. In preparation, I have been doing my chin-ups and lunges, and for his own preparation, Jacob Schraer of the Portland Mercury has highlighted the series and the event with an article in the newest issue.
